Adasova shop is a small soap studio in the centre of Prague. We pour, cut and cure every bar ourselves, using olive, coconut and shea butter, local honey and dried botanicals – no mass production and no shortcuts.

Naturally retained glycerin

Cold-process soap keeps the glycerin that forms during saponification, which is why the lather feels soft rather than squeaky.

Short ingredient lists

Oils, butters, lye, water, botanicals and essential oils. Every ingredient is printed on the label in Czech and English.

Paper and kraft packaging

Bars come in paper bands or kraft boxes with wood-wool filling. No plastic film unless you ask for it for a wedding favour.

Made to order for events

Custom shapes, colours and scents for weddings, corporate gifts and workshops, with a proof sample before the full batch.

A small studio in the heart of Prague

Adasova shop started in 2019 as a kitchen hobby and grew into a workshop with a counter on the second floor of Palladium. We still make everything in batches of forty to sixty bars, which lets us test each recipe, adjust the scent and cut every loaf by hand.

Our base recipe is olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter. From there we add what the collection calls for: lavender from South Moravia, honey from a beekeeper in Beroun, oats, ground coffee, rose petals or clay for colour.

How a bar is made

From weighing oils to the day the bar is ready to sell takes about six weeks. Here is what happens in between.

Weigh and melt

Olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter are weighed to the gram and gently melted. The lye solution is mixed separately and cooled.

Blend and pour

Oils and lye are blended to a light trace, then split for colour with clay, charcoal or alkanet, scented and poured into wooden moulds.

Cut and cure

After 24–48 hours the loaf is unmoulded and cut. Bars rest on cedar racks for four to six weeks so excess water evaporates.

Check and pack

Each batch is pH-tested and inspected. Bars are then wrapped in paper bands, dated and shelved or packed for delivery.
